Hands-on training in cloud and AI.

Instructor-led workshops where your engineers build real systems, in environments prepared for them, on the platforms they use every day.

Topics

Each workshop can be adapted to your cloud platform, your use cases and your team's experience.

Cloud architecture on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
Designing applications that are secure, observable and affordable to run, and choosing the right building blocks on each platform.
Building generative AI applications
Retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context design, evaluation, and the gateway and guardrails that make AI applications safe to run.
AI agents and the Model Context Protocol
Agents that call real business systems: tool design, orchestration, security and observability, built step by step.
Securing and governing AI agents
Threat modelling, least-privilege tool access, prompt injection defences, human approval steps, evaluation and audit, applied to a working agent.
Serverless and event-driven integration
Event-driven systems, managed integration services and APIs, built and deployed from scratch.
Infrastructure as code and delivery
Terraform or Bicep, automated pipelines and environments that can be rebuilt with a single command.
AI for technical leaders
Shorter sessions for CTOs, architects and engineering managers on where AI adds value, what it costs, and how to govern it.

Who it is for

Engineering teams
Developers and platform engineers adopting a cloud platform, building their first AI features, or both.
Architects and technical leads
People who need to make sound design decisions and review the work of others.
Technical leaders
CTOs and engineering managers deciding where AI fits, what it costs, and how to govern it.

Format

  • Half a day to three days, for groups of five to twenty, on site or remotely.
  • Built on an extensive catalogue of hands-on labs, so participants spend most of the workshop building. Each lab has a core path and stretch goals, so mixed levels work well together.
  • Labs run on Kawatta Labs, our own learning platform. Every participant gets a working environment and step-by-step instructions, so nothing has to be installed or approved in your systems beforehand.
  • Participants keep the workshop material afterwards.
  • Workshops can be followed by hands-on support on your first real project.

Training for your team

Tell us about your team, your platform and what you want them to be able to do afterwards. We will propose an agenda.
